Teacher Appreciation Week Ideas

This week is teacher appreciation week and I thought I would share what I made. These are just some ideas that you can make for Teachers Day or Back to School. They are really cute and fun to make so you can show the teacher in your life how much you appreciate them.

Valentine's Day Gift for him

Not sure what to get him for Valentine's Day? Well why not make something meaningful that he'll enjoy. Today I'll be showing you how to make a date night box. It's super easy and great for a movie or game night. If you want to know how to make it just keep on reading. :)

Materials:

Basket

Heart stencils

Construction paper

Cute Sayings

Candy

Beef jerkey

Soda

Popcorn

Popcorn container

Tissue Paper

Glue

Directions:

Pick any candy you would like and lay it out

According to what candy you have, you can make little notes like these:

You may not be able to see this sayings so this is what I wrote:

Popcorn: Popping in to say I love you

Gummy Bears: Life would be unbearable without you

Skittles: Skittle on over and be my valentine

Reese's Pieces: You stole a piece of my heart

Soda: I soda think you are amazing

Red Vines: You're as sweet as can be

Tape each saying to the candy:

Then I took some construction paper and made another note to explain the gift and also wrote Date Night in a box so I can put in on the basket:

The note says:

I realize that our lives can get crazy, but when it comes to date night we can't get lazy! To spend some time with my sweetie I have made date night oh so easy! For an evening with me that totally rocks everything we'll need is in this box!

Cut out some hearts with red, white, and pink construction paper

Get the basket ready and glue the hearts all around the basket. Glue the Date Night in a box cut out as well.

Finally add everything to the basket.

DIY: Rudolf Candy Canes

Want to give people something cute and inexpensive? Well, these candy canes are a perfect addition to any gift or to give on there own.

Materials:

Candy Canes

Black Sharpie

Red Glitter Pen

Scissors

Tape

Brown Construction Paper

How to:

Cut brown construction paper in rectangles

Place two candy canes back to back and tape a brown strip of construction paper around it.

Take the black sharpie and draw two eyes

Next place a red dot in the middle for the nose and let it dry.

Final Result:

Candy Corn Cupcakes

Materials:

Cake mix

Yellow and Orange food coloring

Frosting

Candy

White cupcake liners (optional)

Directions:

Mix batter according to the directions on the box

Divide batter in half

Take one half of the batter and add a couple drops of yellow food coloring and mix together

Take the second half of the batter and add a couple of drops of orange food coloring and mix together

Take the cupcake liners or cupcake pans and fill half with yellow cake batter and half with orange cake batter

Bake for about 20 minutes

Let them cool completely

How to decorate:

Take some white frosting and place a small swirl on top

Place a candy on top of the frosting
