I have always made regular chocolate chip cookies, but I had never made any with M&Ms so I decided to try it out. They were a complete success and even had to make some more. This is how I decided to make them. Ingredients: 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened 3/4 cups granulated sugar 3/4 cups packed brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla extract 2 eggs 1 cup Nestle Toll House semisweet chocolate chips 1 cup Mini M&Ms
Servings: About 4 dozen Directions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl and mix. In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until its creamy. Add one egg at a time and beat well after each egg. Beat in the flour mixture into the large bowl gradually. Stir in the chocolate chips and M&Ms.
Drop by rounded tablespoon onto a cookie sheet. Bake for about 9 minutes or until golden brown. Let them cool completely.
I usually don't make cookies from scratch because I feel like they take too long to make, but this time I thought I would give it a try. They came out delicious and I am about to tell you how I made them.
Ingredients: 1 cup butter or margarine, softened 1 cup granulated sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp vanilla extract 3 cups flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt Direction: Preheat oven to 400 degrees I started by beating the butter and sugar until it became creamy. Then I added the eggs and vanilla until it was blended. In a separate bowl I mixed the flour, baking powder and salt together. Finally I added both mixtures together until they were completely blended. I rolled out the dough and used cookie cutters of my choice and placed them on a cookie sheet and baked them for about 8 minutes. End result:
